Earlier this year the Yakima Police Department made a presentation to the city about installing Red Light cameras to help put a stop to the problem.

Now the city wants to turn it into a National Historic District.

It's happening again this year but the Fall 2021 Heritage Garden workshop on Saturday, November 6th will be on zoom because of concerns about the current pandemic.

Depending upon where you live it’ll be a busy ballot with city and county elections as well as propositions in Selah and Yakima.

. In fact the city of Yakima parks will be alive with the sound of music and movies during three different series this summer.

Everyone in the community is urged to take the survey to identify areas of concern and improvements.

Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.

The one-on-one sessions are by appointment only from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each Tuesday starting August 11th.
