The public is being asked to help guide the future of recreation, tourism and stewardship along state route 410 known as the Chinook Scenic Byway. The Chinook Scenic Byway runs from Naches to Enumclaw and is often considered one of Washington State’s most beautiful drives and a great place for recreation.

Upcoming workshops will kick off the development of a plan for the byway. The plan is expected to address opportunities to enhance recreation, strategies for stewardship of public lands and ideas for quality of life and economic development for communities along the byway.

Some of the topics covered will be the best places and activities along the byway as well as how tourism improves economic development?

Meetings are scheduled for:

  • Naches Train Depot at 6:30 pm, Tuesday, October 15th
  • Nile Clubhouse at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, October 16th
  • Enumclaw Community/Senior Center- 6:30 pm, November 13th
