Out With The Old..In With The New Ike
The Yakima School District is proud to announce the official Groundbreaking for the Eisenhower High School Replacement Project this Thursday, September 1, beginning at 9:45 a.m.
The event, which will be held at 44th Avenue and Tieton Drive, will begin with music provided by the Eisenhower High School Marching Band followed by a brief program and “turning of the dirt.” Providing messages will be district officials, as well as Jordan Lehrman, Ike Class of 2009 and Citizens Levy Committee Student Co-Chair. The first students in the new building will move in during the first school year of 2013.
