A man is in the hospital after a car accident involving some farm equipment.

The 50-year-old White Swan man was driving his car northbound on North Brownston Road when he struck a swather that was traveling the other direction. The swather was driving without a pilot car.

Yakima County Sheriffs determined that the swather's width extended over the implied center line when it struck the vehicle.

The White Swan man was transported to a local hospital where they believe he has a broken vertebrae. The driver and passenger of the swather were not hurt.

There was no information in the press release about any charges, if any, that might be filed.
