Police officers are an important part of any state in the United States. With their motto, to protect and to serve, the police are around to assist and help when needed on the scene.

Some states are better than others for our police officers as well.

In a recent study by financial website Wallet Hub, they found Washington State was one of the best states for police officers.

The study called for looking at several different criteria including opportunity and competition, law enforcement training requirements, job hazards and protection rank.

With these, Washington State is 8th over-all which is great.

It could be better, but it could be a lot worse.
