Calling all witches!

Come enjoy a fun night out on the town for a good cause this Halloween season!

I am still feeling elated over watching the latest episode of my new favorite TV show, Agatha All Along (Disney+). The show is about crazy Agatha who is a Marvel Comic witch with a shady reputation. Her character was featured in the other Disney+ show, Wandavision, which, coincidentally is about another witch in the Marvel world.

I won't give away the show, but Agatha goes on a quest to find four other witches to form a coven so that she can walk down Witches Road and get her witchy powers back after they were zapped away by Wanda Maximoff.

The Valley Mall in Union Gap is hosting Witches' Night Out, a 21+ fundraiser on Friday, October 10th, and they will donate proceeds to Wellness House. The tickets are only $20**, thus making it affordable for parents who want to party on a budget like me, ha!

Check out our events calendar for more fun witchy and Halloween-themed events in the Yakima Valley!

Wellness House helps cancer patients and their families with support groups and access to resources.

There are six reasons I think it would be FUN to attend this event for the grown-ups!

LOOK: How Halloween has changed in the past 100 years

Stacker compiled a list of ways that Halloween has changed over the last 100 years, from how we celebrate it on the day to the costumes we wear trick-or-treating. We’ve included events, inventions, and trends that changed the ways that Halloween was celebrated over time. Many of these traditions were phased out over time. But just like fake blood in a carpet, every bit of Halloween’s history left an impression we can see traces of today.
