Guy Fieri’s Favorite Emerald City Gems: Seattle Restaurants You Need to Try
Guy Fieri sure has a unique way of hyping up people about food. His energy is infectious. I loved watching him shine on Food Network Star Season 2 in 2006, and when he won, I was cheering him on like I knew him personally or something! Good times, ha!
I've located ten restaurants in Seattle that deserve some props, thanks to Fieri's show Diner's, Drive-Ins, and Dives. He stopped by The Emerald City and sampled mac and cheese, smoked chili verde, more chilli, breakfast omelets, duck l'orange, Nashville Hot chicken, Korean fried chicken, Caribbean-style aloo pies, gyros, and traditional Russian pastries. YUM!
Before we get to those restaurants we should take a quick pause and pour out one out for the restaurant homies that Guy Fieri featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives that are now permanently closed.
The beloved neighborhood restaurant, Pizzeria Credo, closed in September 2023. Guy Fieri ate some of their wood-fired, Napoletano-style pizzas.
Red Door, located in the Fremont neighborhood in Seattle, permanently closed in 2020. Guy Fieri tried their fish and chips and the bomb beef dip.
Guy Fieri ate his way around town in some of Seattle's best small restaurants in search of the perfect bite. I envy that job, ha!
