Yeah, those are just stories, told by Hollywood, just to give you a glimmer of hope.

A few years ago my dad informed me that my brother and I might own land down in Arkansas, mainly because of my mother’s (who sadly passed away 20+ years ago) family.
My brother and I were excited at first and then felt the weight of being landowners IN ARKANSAS!
Luckily (I’m trying to be positive), it turned out not to be the case. Other (distant) family members down south laid claim to the property, but for those 2 weeks or so, my family was in one of those stories.

The Unclaimed Property Manager of the Department of Revenue, Joe Gisler has been pointing people to the website ClaimYourCash.org.
The website is pretty easy to access and navigate. Full name, city, and zip code are all you need to search to see if you have unclaimed property.
