Winter is Coming: To Areas Of Oregon & Washington
The time of year that many of us dread is about to hit, and hit hard!
No, I’m not talking about “Pumpkin Spice” everything (although that’s not far off).
I’m talking about WINTER! The first cold snap! Jack Frost is paying his yearly visit!
Depending on where you are in the Pacific Northwest, you’re going to be getting more of a chill than other locations.
The Farmer’s Almanac has reported that this year, we’re in for a wet and rainy winter, and it looks like it may be starting sooner rather than later (at least a taste of it).
According to the weather experts at KHQ, look for a cold front to trek through the Inland Northwest, especially through Moses Lake, Ritzville, and Spokane, which will have some winds, rains, and thunderstorms.
Lower south in Oregon, according to Newsweek.com, parts of Oregon are going to get cold!

Oregon cities Enterprise, Joseph, and Wallowa (northeastern Oregon) can expect some below-freezing temps.
“Frost and free conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.” – The National Weather Service (NWS)
Hopefully, these cold times don’t last too long; I hope to get a decent fall before the blast of winter hits.
