On the eve of its planned opening, Townsquare Media's Terror on the Ave haunted attraction has closed after an undisclosed "incident."

The haunt, which includes a 3D experience and other frightening features, was to begin admitting visitors Friday night in the old Schultz Furniture building at 411 W. Yakima Ave. Now, organizers say it will open next Thursday, Oct. 9 from 7-10 p.m.

Townsquare's regional vice president, Cheryl Salomone, said she couldn't talk about "the incident," which occurred sometime early Friday, but she said the haunt should be "cleaned up" and ready to resume regular hours -- 7-10 Thursday nights, 7-11 Friday and Saturday nights -- next week.

No further details were available.
