It's been a busy fall weekend in the Yakima Valley. More than 100 people and their dogs attended the annual Brontoberfest at Bron Yr Aur Brewery Saturday. The day included a wiener dog race and a dog costume contest in which "Willy" Trump was a participant among many others. There was also a flannel contest, beer, pizza and games for kids.

For many it's a first stop before enjoying the White Pass Octoberfest which was held at the White Pass lodge on Saturday after the job fair. White Pass officials are predicting another big snow year.

If you were in Yakima maybe you enjoyed the Downtown Yakima Chalk Art Festival. The event was hosted by

The Downtown Association of Yakima (DAY). It was held on North 3rd Street between Yakima Avenue and Staff Sgt. Pendleton Way.

The weekend activities continue Sunday with the Hemp and Hops event at the Yakima Valley Sundome. It's the first time for the show in which growers and enthusiasts are talking about the cousin plants.

And Sunday is also the last tour of the YMCA Rotary Aquatic Center at Chesterly Park until 5:00 p.m. You can just stop by a take a tour that lasts about 20 to 30 minutes.
