The Daily Mail has published a lot of interesting stories over the years but there are a lot of guys who have been waiting for this one.  According to a new study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine indicates that for men, having sex regularly has been found to help prevent heart disease.

Now no good wife or girlfriend that I’ve ever heard of wants their man to die or suffer from heart disease, right?

The data shows having sex several times a week can reduce levels of a chemical in the body called homocysteine, which is known to trigger cardiac problems.

It’s great when a plan comes together.

Doctors say sex promotes better circulation and healthier blood vessels, which they say is crucial to prevent the build-up of homocysteine.   And in a double down on getting down researchers say “Increased sexual frequency could have a protective effect on general health and quality of life—especially in men”

At the same time women medically benefit much less .  Sorry ladies -- but the emotional benefits could be significant!  Hey, it’s worth a shot! (Daily Mail)
