It's always a struggle for area food banks to keep up with the need.  Now, with more people than ever out of work due to mandated business closures born of the Coronavirus Pandemic, the need for food is immense.

Enter the "Farm To Family Program".  Farm to Family is a government initiative which on Saturday will provide some 18-hundred  25 pound boxes of produce, free-of-charge.

The location is the parking lot of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,  705 South 38th Ave. in Yakima
