If you or your son or daughter is looking at attending college this year officials with Yakima Valley College says your journey should start by filling out a FAFSA or free application for federal student aid giving you a chance to qualify for financial aid and even scholarships. The college is offering workshops this fall and winter to help students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). The workshops will be held at the Yakima and Grandview campuses. A news release from the school says the workshops at the Yakima campus are set for this fall and winter. October 9,  November 6 and December 4. Then in the new year workshops in Yakima will be held January 15, February 12 and March 4 of 2020. All the workshops will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The release also lists dates for the Grandview campus as well.
