Dump Truck Hits Overpass, Driver Injured

The Washington State Patrol says the driver of a dump truck hit an overpass on Pond Road in East Selah Wednesday night around 8:20.

Sixty-year-old James Cook from Yakima did not realize that his dump truck trailer had raised when he hit the I-82 concrete overpass on Pond Road.

Paramedics took Cook to Yakima Regional Medical Center for his injuries.

No word on the extent of damage to the overpass.
