City Boards and Commissions Looking for New Members

The city of Yakima is looking for volunteers to fill open positions on several city boards and commissions for 2015.

According to a city news release, "The Planning Commission and Community Review Board currently have one open position each, the Southeast Community Center Advisory Committee has two open positions, and the Parks and Recreation Commission has two open positions and one open youth position."

Each commission has a different residency requirement and term. Full details on the requirements can be found on the city's website.

Anyone interested in applying for an opening can fill out an application online or pick one up at the city clerk's office at City Hall, 129 N. Second St.
