The Yakima Bears are giving the next 60 days of exclusive attention to Clark County and that has Yakima backing away from efforts to keep the team in town.  According to a report in the Yakima Herald Republic, the Bears have signed an exclusivity agreement with Clark County which will short circut Councilman Dave Eddler's attempt to convince Selah and Union Gap to team with Yakima in an effort to form a Public Facilities District to fund a new ball park.

The Bears told Edler and others that there was still an opportunity to keep the team in Yakima...that prompted Edler's last minute attempt.  Now some observers are wondering if the city was misled.  Stay tuned as details of the agreement and Bears plans trickle out,
