YVCC Music Department Presents Annual Latin Music Celebration

The seventh annual celebration of Latin music styles will take place April 27 through May 8 on the Yakima Valley Community College Yakima Campus.

The week-long festival will feature clinics, in-school residencies, workshops, and performances at various schools throughout the Yakima Valley. Festival faculty include Memo Acevedo, David Blink, Jeff Chang, Carlos Casacante, Jeff Norwood, Doug Beavers, John Sanders, Andre Mintz, Shannon Dudley, Israel James Hunter, Javier Ortiz Lopez, Antonio Garcia de Leon, and Yesenia Hunter. The celebration will culminate with the grand finale concert featuring the YVCC Salsa Band held May8, 2013 at 7:00pm at the Seasons Performance Hall. Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased at The Seasons Performance Hall.
