Grandview Campus – The Vineyard and Winery Technology Program at Yakima Valley Community College will host the 6th annual Grape to Glass Gala - A Winemaker’s Dinner on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 6:00-10:00pm. The event will benefit Vineyard & Winery Technology student scholarships. Held at the Grandview Activity Center, 401 West Second Street, Grandview, WA the event will include a dinner, wine tasting, a silent auction, live music and dancing.

• 7:00-8:30pm: Dinner & Music

• 8:30-10:00pm: Music & Dancing

The Winemaker’s Dinner will include a four course meal prepared by Fat Olives, a family owned and operated restaurant located in Richland, Washington. Originally from Alaska, the Nolan family expanded their business to the Tri-Cities and provides the freshest ingredients for their signature hand-tossed pizzas to their delectable pastas and entrees. The neighborhood eatery prepares their food with passion and serves it with pride. In collaboration with YV-Tech Culinary Arts Program students will assist the caterer with dinner service. This year’s event will feature YVCC Vineyard Technology graduates. For the first time the wine pairing with dinner will feature Washington wineries who employee YVCC graduates. In addition wines from YVCC’s own Yakima Valley Vintners will also be paired with the menu.
