The Yakima Valley Community College Playmasters presents Terrence McNally’s Last Gasps on Friday, March 8, 2013 and Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 7:30pm in Kendall Hall Auditorium.

Featuring three short plays the production explores a range of theatrical styles, culminating in a final piece that features the entire company of actors and the work of professional choreographer Shannonrae Anderson. Ticket costs are $5.00 for general admission and $3.00 for students. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the YVCC Bookstore or at the box office the night of the show.

First presented on New York's channel 13 (PBS) as part of FOUL!, a special program on pollution and conservation, this imaginative short play offers an affecting observation on the awful fate that mankind may face unless he curbs the misuse of his environment. Moving quickly from one vignette to another, the play presents a cross section of individuals, all quite different and yet all facing the same fate—that terrible moment when breathable air is exhausted and human life no longer possible.

This play contains adult language and situations. For more information: 509.574.4750.
