YVCC Has Openings in Nursing Assistant Certificate Program

Yakima Valley Community College is currently enrolling students for their Nursing Assistant Certificate (NAC) program. Classes begin in winter 2014 at the Yakima Campus.

YVCC’s NAC is a two-quarter program that will prepare students for a career as a nursing assistant. The deadline to register is December 11, 2014.

The program is tailored for  people interested in a career as a Nursing Assistant. After completion of the training students will be eligible to test for the Nursing Assistant Certificate.

All interested students will be CASAS tested at YVCC. We are looking for students who test at CASAS levels of Reading-4, Writing-4 and Math-3. All interested students will have to pass two background checks.

Grant funding is available for eligible students.
