YVCC Getting Boost in Power from a Higher Source

Yakima Valley Community College is getting some grant money for a new solar energy project. It's from Pacific Power's Blue Sky reusable energy program. The school will add solar panels on the roof of the Glen Anthon Arts and Science Building. The panels will give students an opportunity to learn about solar energy. And, the school will save money on electricity. YVCC has a meeting today to review the plans.
