It's called Youthbuild and it's a program through the Yakima Valley Farmworkers Clinic that's helping people get back on track and create a future career. Spokesperson Miranda Smith says the program is designed for people 18-24-years-old who have dropped out of high school but who want to get a diploma and get to work. She says the program helps people get a G.E.D. and learn valuable constructions skills.
To be eligible you need to  be 16-24-years-old,  have left traditional schooling, and meet one of the following factors: low income, in foster care, have a disability, child of an incarcerated parent, migrant youth, or an offender.  You also need to be a resident of Toppenish, Granger, Grandview, Mabton, or the Yakama Nation.
