A new study, published in BMJ Open journal, concludes people can lose weight even when eating pasta. (wikipedia describes BMJ Open as a peer-reviewed open access medical mega journal.")
The study started out to examine whether or not people gain weight by eating pasta but -surprise- the results showed dieters could include pasta as part of a low glycemic diet and still lose weight.
The study participants consumed small servings of pasta each week and at the end of the 12 week trial, each had lost weight. Details available in Women's Health.
