I was in the Shipping Shop the other day (great folks by the way) and I noticed they had some Cougar Gold Cheese for sale in a refrigerator, ready to be wrapped and shipped.  I thought that might make a nice gift for some people on my list and then I discovered it might make a life saving fabulous gift!

A new analysis of 15 studies about cheese consumption and heart risk reveals that eating a small amount of cheese –like the size of a matchbox, roughly one-and-a-half ounces of cheese daily - can actually reduce your chances of developing heart disease by 14 percent. What? That’s awesome…AND delicious!

Researchers says that snacking on a small serving of cheese daily raised levels of so-called "good" cholesterol while reducing levels of "bad" cholesterol.

It's even thought cheese may contain an acid that can help prevent clogging of the arteries.

So if an apple a day keeps the doctor away, pair a Yummy Yakima apple with some Washington cheese and you may never see the doc ever again!  (Daily Mail)
