A bunch of great kids will be in the spotlight Monday during the Yakima Youth Awards Ceremony. Spokesperson Karen Lee says “it is a great feel good night to learn about some wonderful kids doing great things in the community.” Kids ages 5 to 19 will be recognized for everything from helping in the neighborhood and the community to having great grades. The kids were nominated by teachers, parents, grandparents and peers. The Yakima Youth awards are set for 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Davis High School auditorium. Admission is free!
