The Yakima Herald Republic reported that a 23-year-old woman was shot Sunday morning in a drive-by shooting that left her injured, but not with life-threatening injuries.

The police responded to a call on the 400 block of S 7th St and the victim did not appear to be gang related, but residents of the local said a person associated with the Sureno gang used to live there, according to the Republic.

The Republic also reported that the police found casings in the street and bullets in the residence structure, but no suspects have been identified yet.

Anyone with information about the crime should contact the Yakima Police Department.
