Superintendents from school districts in the Yakima Valley are meeting today to talk about school security in light of the recent shooting in Connecticut. Marybeth Wright with the Yakima School District says the officials are meeting to talk about specifics on how they can keep kids safe in the classroom. Wright says they're also sending out a letter to district parents this week explaining district security measures.

The meeting at the ESD 105 offices in Yakima will not only involve the superintendents but police, county sheriff's deputies and fire departments officials as well.
