The investigation continues  into Sunday's fire at Heritage University. Groups across the Yakima valley are stepping up to help the school after last Sunday's big fire at Petrie hall. Both Wapato and Toppenish school districts have offered to provide food. Toppenish Community Hospital and Perry Tech also offered to help. Central Washington University President James Gaudino saw his business burn down years ago and says this experience inspired him to help as well.

Heritage President John Bassett says the university has to establish a recovery plan in order to know what will be needed most. He says he’s thankful for all the help as the school tries to return to normal.
