Yakima Transit Committee Wants To Hear From You

Do you ride a bus to get around the city of Yakima? Do you have some ideas about how to make your ride more enjoyable? Do you have concerns? If so The next meeting of the Yakima Transit Citizen Advisory Committee happens on Tuesday, October 11th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the large conference room at the City of Yakima Public Works Administration Building located at 2301 Fruitvale Boulevard.
The Yakima Transit Citizen Advisory Committee meets quarterly. The meetings feature open discussion among Yakima Transit staff, Yakima Transit riders, and community members. During committee meetings, updates are provided regarding current and upcoming Yakima Transit projects, programs, and issues. Everyone is encouraged to attend the committee meetings.
“We invite anyone who is interested in learning more about Yakima Transit to attend advisory committee meetings,” said Yakima Transit Community Transportation Coordinator Jennifer Orlando. “We want to hear from people who are willing to share their perspectives and insights about how Yakima Transit can best serve the community. We’ve found that the exchanges that take place during advisory committee meetings are very informative and helpful in determining how Yakima Transit can provide the highest level of service possible,” said Orlando.
