It's called The Mollie Davis Scholarship Program and it's administered by the Yakima Rotary Trust.
Applications for the 2018-19 scholarships are now open until Feb. 22. The program awards up to $7,500 per year and up to $30,000 overall toward earning a bachelor’s degree, and up to $3,000 per year toward an associate's degree. And the scholarships are renewable.
The scholarship has been in existence since 2010 when the Trust awarded 301 scholarships worth more than $5.4 million. The funds are managed by the Yakima Valley Community Foundation.
