Halloween means a lot of things to a lot of people. For many, it means harvest and nothing is more fun than bringing your kids to a good ol' fashion pumpkin patch. Here are a few in Yakima.

9535 Old Naches Hwy. in Naches
The is one you'll want to bring the kids to. Aside from the corn maze, wagon rides, farm setting and the pumpkin patch itself, they have two cannons that fire off pumpkins. It's a blast!

Schells Produce

Off Ahtanum in Union Gap
This could be the largest corn maze in the Yakima valley and I may have to agree. I was lost in the Schells corn maze for quite a while last year. They're open every day of the week and welcome large groups like schools or church groups. You can even have a birthday party here. There's a hay bale maze for kids as well as a hay pyramid slide that my kids love. There are a few animals you can pet. There's also a pit you can toast a marshmallow in.

Bill's Berry Farm

3674 N. County Line Rd., Grandview
This organic pumpkin farm has apples you can pick and features a lot of fun including train rides, a corn maze and so much more!

Country Mercantile

404 Stover Rd. in Grandview
Traditionally, Country Mercantile has a pumpkin patch and harvest festival. You'll find straw mazes, pyramids made from bales of hay and tractor pulled wagon rides that carry you and your family to the pumpkin patch. There's even a barn with petting zoo.
