Yakima Police Seeking Information on Wednesday’s Night Shooting

A 28-year-old man was shot in the arm in an incident at a home in the 13 hundred block of Garfield avenue just after 11:00 p.m. Wednesday night. Yakima Police say they were called to the home for a report of shots fired.

When they arrived they found the 28-year-old victim intoxicated in the backyard of the home suffering from a gunshot wound to his right arm. He was taken to a Yakima hospital where he is being treated Today. Police say he refused to tell them what happened. Anyone with additional information is urged to contact the Yakima Police Department at 575-6200.
