Yakima Police Searching For Shooter In Latest Murder

Yakima Police are looking for a killer today after the Friday night shooting that took the life of 23-year-old Shawn Martinez.

Martinez died on a sidewalk at North Eighth and D streets. Police were called at about 11:55 p.m. Friday. No arrests have been made.

Meantime, police are still searching for another killer from last month's fatal shooting on South 17th Street. Police aren't saying if Friday night's killing had anything to do with local gangs.
