Yakima Police Searching for Second Robbery Suspect

Yakima Police
KIT

Yakima Police have arrested one suspect and are looking for another after a robbery in a parking lot on the 800 block of North First Street early Sunday morning.

Police say the two victims were in the parking lot just after 4:00 a.m. when they were confronted by two suspects with handguns who robbed them of cash. One of the victims took a picture of the suspect vehicle and yesterday afternoon police stopped the vehicle and arrested a 16-year-old driver as a suspect in the robbery.

Officers are still attempting to identify the second suspect, described only as a hispanic male and a third subject who was driving the suspect vehicle at the time of the robbery described as a white or light skinned female with dark shoulder length hair and a “round face.”

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information can contact the Yakima Police department at 575-6200.
