Yakima Police are investigating two possible luring cases. The first was reported on November 18th while the second happened on November 25th.  Authorities say the first incident involved a male subject and a 16-year-old female who was walking to school. The girl said that while she was walking on Maclaren at S. 14th Avenue, a maroon vehicle drove past her and then stopped. The girl said she heard a whistle and looked to see the male driver making sexually suggestive hand movements. The girl fled the scene and was able to describe the man as being in his 20’s, wearing a dark colored cap and a red jacket.

Yakima Police believe that this incident might be related to a second incident which happened on the 25th in the area of S.21st Avenue and Prasch. A 16-year-old girl said a male in his early 20’s approached her in a maroon colored vehicle and asked her to get in his vehicle. As the girl refused and walked away the man circled the block several times. The girl described the suspect as a Hispanic male, in his 20’s with bad teeth, a dark complexion and he spoke Spanish. If you have any information regarding the suspect we urge you to call 9-1-1.
