Yakima Police Responds to Early Morning Robbery of VFW

Yakima Police Officers responded to the VFW for an armed robbery involving two suspects just occurred.  The victim employee was opening up and preparing for the day when he heard a knock at the back door. Believing it was another employee the victim opened the door and was forced back inside by two white male suspects.  Suspect one brandished a gun demanding money from the til.  When victim hesitated, the second suspect pulled a handgun and pointed it to the victim’s head. They ordered money from the til and also took the victim to the office forcing him to open the safe. A significant amount of cash money was taken by suspects.  The suspects fled and from a conversation between the two, it appeared there was a get away car waiting in the area to pick them up.
