Yakima Police Release Sketch of Sexual Assault Suspect

The Yakima Police department has been investigating what appears to be a series of assaults on young women that began in November 2010 and have occurred as recently as February 2011. 

During this time period, seven separate incidents have been reported by young women who were walking within the area from Summitview south to Nob Hill and 5^th Ave west to 16^th Ave.  The women reported that a white male ran up to them, grabbed them from behind and fondled them.  After fondling them, he ran off.  The women gave similar descriptions of the suspect.

Some of the women agreed to meet with a photo sketch expert and this  composite drawing  was put together.  Yakima Detectives are asking for any information that may lead to the identity of this suspect.  Any information on this suspect can be referred to either Detective Oja or Detective Janis at 575-6212.
