Yakima Police Officer Pleads Guilty

A 25-year veteran for the Yakima Police Department plead guilty to harassment Tuesday in a Yakima courtroom. Richard Schuknecht was arrested at the end of last year for violating a no contact order from his estranged wife. Schuknecht faced two counts of harassment, each carrying a maximum 364-days in custody.

The judge dropped jail time on both counts and credited Schuknecht with the two days he spent in custody when he was first arrested.
