Yakima Police Name 2016 Officer Of The Year

Yakima Police Officer Bryan Elliot has been named the department's 2016 Officer of the Year. Chief Dominic Rizzi says Elliot was recognized as a leader and expert level patrol officer. Elliot is a field training officer who was responsible for training five student officers in 2016. He's also praised by his fellow officers for helping with projects in the community and for supporting other officers in his squad.
