A shooting during a fight at a local motel last night is keeping detectives busy today. Here's the latest from the Yakima Police Department.

"Yakima Police are looking for Gilbert “Eddie” Lundon” in connection with a shooting at the Sunshine Motel ON North 1st Street on Wednesday afternoon...Police believe the 33-year-old Lundon was one of two men who confronted 41-year-old Richard Gossett at the motel.  During the confrontation, Gossett was shot in the leg and one of the suspects received significant wounds to his back and head. Lundon and the second suspect fled the scene.  The second suspect, a 36-year-old Yakima man, was found at an apartment complex and after a brief standoff, he decided to give himself up to the members of the SWAT team that had arrived.  He was transported to the hospital for his wounds and a guard has been placed with him.  Initially it was believed that the suspect suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder, but it was determined later at the hospital that he suffered from stab wounds. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Lundon, please call 9-1-1 or Crime Stoppers at 248-9980."
