Yakima Police Investigating Thursday Homicide

Yakima Police have identified the victim as 52-year-old Michael Frazier of Yakima. Authorities continue the search for a suspect or suspects in the shooting.

Yakima Police are investigating a shooting reported at about 2:00 a.m. in the 700 block of West Chestnut. Spokesman Mike Bastinelli says officers were called to the area for shots fired and when they arrived they found a 52-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. He died at a Yakima hospital.
Police say the man was walking in the area when the shots were fired. Police are looking for a red SUV. No arrests have been made. The victims name has not been released.
