A 33-year-old man faces a first degree robbery charge after Yakima Police say he stole a car from a woman at the Harmon Center on Monday. Yakima Police say the female victim told officers she was leaving the Harmon Center on North 65th Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. Monday when she was confronted by the 33-year-old suspect armed with a handgun. The suspect stole the woman's car and drove out of the parking lot. An off duty officer spotted the vehicle as the suspect fled east on Tieton Drive. The car was abandoned in the 4800 block of Bristol Way and the suspect was arrested nearby. The suspect is now being held in the Yakima County jail a charge of first degree robbery.
