Yakima Parents Urged To Know Where Sex Offenders Live

More than 900 sex offenders live in the Yakima Valley and authorities are urging parents to know where the offenders live to protect kids during Halloween trick or treating. Kerry Ann Ross the Records Supervisor for the Yakima County Sheriff's office says information is available on the sheriff's office website. "There's a link on there called safety tips. There's all kinds of information for parents on the site and a specific Halloween safety flyer." The Yakima County Sheriff's office website gives the general areas were a sex offender is living. Ross is just asking parents to be aware where the offenders live to keep kids safe this Halloween.
