Yakima Memorial Hospital Laying Off 19

KIMA-tv has reported that Memorial Hospital is cutting 19 jobs with the outpatient occupational and physical therapy facility closing too. A hospital spokesperson says the changes are occurring because of the enactment of the Affordable Care act and the changes will happen by the end of the month, according to KIMA-tv.

KIMA-tv also reports that the services at "The Springs" will continue in the main building and those laid off may be considered for other positions at the hospital.
