Yakima Man Shot While Driving Summitview Wednesday Night

Yakima Police say a man found with gunshot wounds at the Walgreens store on Yakima Avenue late Wednesday night was actually shot while driving alongside the suspect vehicle in the 1000 block of Summitview. Authorities say after being shot the victim drove himself to the Walgreens store on West Yakima Avenue where he called police. Police say the shooting wasn't a random event and that both the victim and the shooter were acquainted with each other. No arrests have been made. The man is expected to recover from his wounds at a Yakima hospital.
