Yakima Man in Stable Condition After Christmas Eve Stabbing

A stabbing on Christmas eve left a man in serious condition this morning at a Yakima hospital. Police say the 26 year old suspect is the man's brother in law that lived at the same apartment in the 1400 block of Roosevelt avenue. The victim, Jose Calvario remains in serious condition at a Yakima hospital. Investigators say officers were called by neighbors who say the victim approached them and collapsed. 26 year old suspect was arrested after he returned to the apartment while police were still investigating the incident.
