A YAKIMA MAN HAS ESCAPED MAJOR DRUG CHARGES.

In 2009 then 29 year old Patrick Jimi Lyons property was raided by Yakima Police. The officers found marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms. But the state supreme court has ruled that evidence can't be used to prosecute him. Why? The justices found the search warrant obtained before the property was raided by authorities was invalid as a result Lyons escapes major drug charges, specifically the justices found the warrant was missing key details about when an officer received information from an informant. They say the warrant must give a reason for the search and also must contain information about when the officer get's the tip. Those details that were apparently missing from the warrant.
