Computer skills are vital in today's work and social world so the Yakima Valley Libraries (YVL) have partnered with Microsoft to offer free online classes.

YVL Resources Coordinator Charlotte Hinderliter says it is the first time it has been offered in the state. “Any training program that Microsoft offers is available to anyone in Yakima County.”

Hinderliter says the classes are being offered through a partnership with Microsoft. In the partnership the Washington State Library received funds from the legislature to offer Microsoft it academy to libraries at no cost around the state.

Just go to the website at yvl.org. and you will see the link to the Microsoft Academy. And it is free to anyone in the State of Washington.
