From news partner KIMA:
Yakima Police say they caught the man accused of stealing a John Deere grass cutter from the Yakima Valley Technical Skills Center early Wednesday morning.

Officers say he took off the with mower around 1 a.m.

Then Walmart called police to report the same man was shoplifting Wednesday evening. Police responded and found the stolen tractor on the truck driven by the suspect.

The suspect did not own the truck.

“I’m a hundred-percent happy that they got the truck and that I don’t have to go and work with impound. And, that they got these people off the streets. They don’t need to be on the streets,” said truck owner Joseph Riley.

Police say the suspect had tried stealing from Walmart before.
